Beach House in Beautiful Stockholm Archipelago

This idyllic holiday home was built in the 40s on the island of Yxlan, found in the northern part of the Stockholm Archipelago. The remote location has little disturbance from the outside world, and the beachside property offers stunning views of the Baltic Sea. Take a swim at the beach and relax afterwards in a sunchair on the dock. Later in the evening you can enjoy a drink in the remodeled beach hut turned tiki bar or sit down in front of a fireplace with a good book. For an extra fee, our motorboat will be made available, perfect for seal safaris or overnight excursions to nearby islands. The property has all the modern necessities one could wish for without losing any of its country charms. These include wi-fi, air conditioning, Chromecast-equipped televisions, dishwasher, washing machine, and a sauna. Several outside seating areas are found on the grounds, and dinner parties can be held regardless of the weather. The main building has three bedrooms and can comfortably host up to 7 people, and the guest house has 4 bedrooms and fits another 8 people. The house lies within a two-hour drive from both Stockholm and Arlanda airport. Public transport by both bus and ship are both viable options for those without a car, both easily accessible by a short walk. On the island, you will find a small convenience store to fill basic food needs, and a short ferry ride will take you to the neighboring island of Blidö which inhibits a supermarket, a movie theater, and several restaurants. If this is not enough to fill your cravings, the town of Norrtälje can cater to most shopping needs and is located one hour away by car or bus.
